Get ready for a day of crafty adventures with our 'Weave a Tartan Scarf in a Day' workshop! Step into the wonderful world of weaving as we guide you through the art of creating your very own fabulous woolly scarf.
Picture this: a loom, a riot of colourful wool, and your nimble fingers working their magic. We'll show you the ropes of warping a rigid heddle loom, making those woolly hues dance in perfect harmony. You get to pick three shades that tickle your fancy – whether it's dashing plaids, charming checks, or snazzy stripes, your scarf will be as unique as you are.
Our Radical artisans will be your trusty companions on this creative journey, teaching you the secrets of warping and dressing the loom to perfection. By the end of the day, you'll walk away with a scarf that's not just stylish but also a testament to your crafting prowess.
Don't worry about a thing – we've got all the tools and materials you need, along with a delightful supply of tea, coffee, and biscuits to keep your creative juices flowing. And when hunger strikes, you can either bring your own scrumptious lunch or explore the charming cafes around Murray Place.
This workshop is open to anyone aged 12 and above, so whether you're a seasoned pro or a complete novice, there's a loom waiting for you. We'll be crafting from 9.30am to 5pm, with a leisurely lunch break to refuel.
And for a touch of luxury, consider elevating your creation with our premium Rowan Felted Tweed yarn. For just £22, you can infuse your masterpiece with the sumptuous touch of Rowan's esteemed yarn, taking your scarf from fabulous to absolutely fabulous!
So, what are you waiting for? Join us for a day of woolly wonders, creativity, and camaraderie. Weave your way to a fantastic scarf and unforgettable memories at our 'Weave a Woolly Scarf in a Day' workshop. Book your spot today, and let's craft something extraordinary together!
