From forest to front door! - From tree to tea!
Safely explore conifer tree identification for decoration, and health promoting needle tea blends to support you over the colder months!
Firstly, get the winter wellies and layers on and join the Herbal Homestead team at the beautiful Cardross Estate Pinetum, for a spot of mindful foraging to harvest wild materials for your festive wreath. Secondly, you will then make your way to the cosy, Herbal Homestead Workroom within the historic Cardross House, to assemble and decorate your wreath - as well as preparing and enjoying a health boosting, conifer needle tea!
What to expect:
- Evergreen & conifer tree identification
- Mindful foraging & harvesting practice
- Making your own festive wreath using the natural materials you harvested
- Making conifer needle tea using the natural materials you harvested
- Exploring the healthful and medicinal properties of trees (forest bathing & tea)
*Includes extra decorations and ribbons.
*Includes information handouts and follow up recipes.
*Refreshments provided.
*Toilet facilities within Cardross House.
Participants must be able-bodied and dressed for the season, there may be muddy walking areas.
