Join Lauren Lochrie of Herbal Homestead at the historic, Cardross House (Stirlingshire) to make herbal spa salts and warming hand cream - both incorporating garden grown, or wild herbs! An ideal activity for personalising festive gifts this year, or for a much needed, self-care experience!
Join us in the cosy Herbal Homestead Workroom, to make herbal hand creams and bath/ foot spa salts. After learning more about the health promoting qualities of the salts, herbs, and essential oils, participants will tailor their own blends to personalise their own natural, handmade gifts - which may well be to themselves for a change!
What to expect:
- Learning about mineral salts & their uses
- Learning about flowers, herbs & their uses
- Learning about essential oils & their uses
- Making your own herbal bath salt blends: x3 (0.5L) clip jars
- Making your own herbal hand or face creams: x3 (41ml) size jars
- Exploring the healthful and medicinal properties of the natural ingredients used
*Includes information handouts and follow up recipes.
