Join us to celebrate two new exciting releases from Fly on the Wall Press: ‘The Sleepless’ by Liam Bell, and ‘The Unpicking’ by Donna Moore.
This is Liam Bell’s fourth novel, his first novel ‘So It Is’ was shortlisted for the SMIT Scottish Book of the Year award for 2013, and his second novel ‘The Busker’ was The Scottish Book Trust Pick of 2014. We hosted the launch of his third novel ‘Man at Sea’ at the tail end of last year and we can’t wait to welcome him back. He will be in conversation with Donna Moore. Her first novel, a Private Eye spoof called Go To Helena Handbasket, won the Lefty Award for most humorous crime fiction novel and her second novel, Old Dogs, was shortlisted for both the Lefty and Last Laugh Awards. In her day job she works as an adult literacy tutor for marginalised women, facilitates creative writing workshops and has a PhD in creative writing around women’s history. She is also co-host of the CrimeFest crime fiction convention.
We can’t wait to welcome them both on Friday 3rd November at 7pm.
