About History of Prestwick Airport Walking Tour

Many people (even the locals) are unaware of the rich, eventful, and indeed impactful history that is associated with Prestwick. Our 2 hour 2 mile walking tour around a section of the airfield perimeter allows us to tell the story of the airfield from 1913 until the present day and it is a story of drive, determination, resilience, entrepreneurship, and aviation 'firsts', sprinkled with equal amounts of tragedy and success.

Add in tales of political posturing and 'skull duggery' and there's so much more to Prestwick than just Elvis Presley!

Come on down to Prestwick and let us take you on this fascinating and illuminating journey. You'll be amazed at what you discover.
