Andrew Manze conductor
Cerys Ambrose-Evans bassoon
Join SCO Principal Guest Conductor Andrew Manze and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra for a delightful evening of sparkling rhythms and timeless melodies.
The journey begins with Larsson’s Pastoral Suite, a gently evocative work brimming with lyrical grace. Mozart’s charming and witty Bassoon Concerto follows, a beloved masterpiece performed by the SCO’s very own Cerys Ambrose-Evans, showcasing her virtuosity and warmth.
The concert concludes with Schubert’s Symphony No 6. Often called his 'Little C Major', it is a work filled with infectious energy, playful charm and the irresistible spirit of dance.
Don’t miss this celebration of musical brilliance and joy!
