Level: Great for beginners!
Join us in a relaxed and friendly workshop where you will learn to create beautiful interlocking vortex pendants or earrings, made from a set of silver rings. This is the perfect project to complete in a day and both options make beautiful gifts.
In this class, you will learn simple sawing and soldering techniques to turn Sterling silver wire into a tactile and kinetic vortex design.
You will be able to select from various wires to design your unique piece, and with guidance, you will start to create the interlocking rings to build up your pendant. Each ring you add to your pendant will build confidence and improve your skills. Towards the end of the day, you will learn techniques to give your piece a professional-looking finish and complete the look with a Sterling silver chain or leather cord.
The class is perfect for beginners, and it covers many of the core jewellery skills needed to create a variety of different jewellery projects in the future.
