We’ll be bringing you one of our strongest line-ups yet featuring some of the most exciting comedians from around the circuit. Whether you fancy a summer night out with your partner or your squad, we’ve got you covered.
Hosting the evening will be Substate regular Jack Traynor who has been gaining traction around the scene for his fluid hosting skills and hilarious roast battles. He has also featured on ‘The Scotts’ (from the makers of burnistoun). Mikey Motion makes his Stirling debut before taking the fringe by storm this summer, the comic is renown for his opening and headlining skills, with his sell-out solo shows which have been widely acclaimed he is ready to bring his A-game to the heart of Scotland. Returning will also be Cobin Millage, another fringe star hailing all the way from Canada. With his regular comedy club spots around the nation he is sure to bring you a laugh with his unique comedy style. We also have Lauren Steven making her Substate debut, one of the best new comedians around the circuit with numerous comedy club slots under her belt she’s looking to blow away the Stirling crowd.
Our headliner is one of the most recognisable acts on the Scottish comedy scene right now with multiple awards to his name such as the UK Improv Smackdown Championship winner (2017), Scottish Comedy Award- Best Newcomer (2018) & Scottish Comedy Award- Best Variety (2020). He is the legendary MC Hammersmith, known as one of the most versatile comics around, he has supported John Bishop and Jason Manford on their solo tours, he’s also took on the Beta squad (features Dave Santan and Chunkz) with his comedy bars and he’s ready to take on a rowdy substate crowd. No-one is safe in this audience- his set specialises in crowd engagement. Don't miss out this summer, get yourself a ticket and support the local comedy scene.
