Whether you’re looking for them works Christmas night out plans, festive spirit with the squad or a wee date night with the partner we’ve got you covered. Headlining will be the one and only Jay Lafferty, one of the biggest names on the Scottish comedy circuit and widely renown for her work on multiple BBC shows, most notably Breaking The News and Scot Squad. Accompanying her as host will be one of the best roaster wranglers in Scotland Rosco Mclelland- a shortlistee for the Billy Connolly Spirit Of Glasgow award and widely accepted as one of the best on the circuit at the moment.
Joining them will be Substate regular Jack Traynor who is gaining plaudits around the scene for his hosting skills and roast battle skills. You may also recognise him from his work with the makers of Burnistoun. Kate Hammer another roast specialist returns to the Substate, a double funny women award nominee and sharp witted Canadian ready to bring her dynamic style once again to Stirling. Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year winner Daniel Petrie joins the stacked lineup to bring some festive spirit to local comedy fans. Making his Substate debut is Sam Lake, an amazing comedian with a great rap sheet, his writing his featured on Mock The Week, Breaking The News and Newsjack and his fringe shows are always some of the best performances at the Edinburgh festival.
