About Dinosaur Detectives

The Dinosaur Detectives is a fascinating journey of discovery surrounding the first fossil finds of Mary Anning, William Buckland and Gideon Mantell. Their finds changed the face of history when they discovered the bones of creatures that became known as Dinosaurs.

Follow their journey to the first golden shell on the beach, the large bones of Megalasaurus and the discovery of Iguanadon and Pterodactyls.

Mary Anning is now considered one of the top ten women of scientific discovery and her finds can be seen in the Natural History Museum in London, as well as the museum in Lyme Regis where discoveries of bones is ongoing today.

Rod puppetry combined with projection and shadow theatre re-create their fascinating world. The show can have the opportunity for the audience to examine fossils at our ‘Fossil Table’ after the production
In one sentence…….
