About Saturday Sewing Club for Parents & Children (aged 7-12)
Starting Saturday, 5th April, and continuing every Saturday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Dunblane Centre, these classes offer a unique opportunity for families to bond, learn, and create together.

Creative Learning: Engage in hands-on projects that foster creativity and self-expression. Our classes are designed to ignite your imagination and provide a fun, educational experience for both parents and children.
Skill Development: Learn valuable sewing techniques that enhance fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving abilities. Sewing also introduces concepts of planning and precision, boosting confidence and a sense of accomplishment.
Sustainable Practices: Participate in projects like creating tartan chickens using leftover materials from the kilt-making industry. This initiative promotes sustainability and educates about recycling and reusing textiles, addressing the growing concern of textile waste.
Flexible Participation: Whether you can attend one class or all sessions until the end of June, our pay-what-you-can-afford model ensures accessibility for all families. Plus, parents attend for free!
Class Details:
The Dunblane Centre, which is also a charity, is easily accessible from Dunblane Train Station and local bus routes. It is a fully accessible building with free parking, with a lovely cafe.
