Learn the essential techniques of cutting, layering, and fusing glass to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces. Guided by Una Galbraith, you’ll explore the properties of glass, experiment with colour and texture, learn how to cut glass, and design two or three small pieces of jewellery, such as earrings or pendants.
With all materials and tools provided, this workshop offers a relaxed and creative environment to ignite your artistic side. Perfect for anyone curious about creating jewellery or glass art, this introduction promises a fun and inspiring experience! It’s a relaxed atmosphere where not only will you develop your glass fusing skills, but you’ll also have an enjoyable day out.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners but more experienced fusers are welcome too.
Your pieces will need to be fired in the kiln, and you can collect them a few days later, or we can post them out to you for a small extra charge to cover postage/packaging.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
