This workshop offers a lovely combination of Yin energy—gentle, patient, and peaceful, and Yang energy—dynamic, focused and expansive. The mix will allow us to approach our practice with different mindsets while we work on flexibility, strength and confidence.
In practice, Yin Yoga is slower and poses are held for longer, working on the deeper connective tissues and joints in the body.
Yang Yoga is more active and energises muscles and blood flow.
In their different ways, Yin and Yang build strength, stamina and flexibility and allow a melding of breath and body in our practice.
This two-hour workshop offers a balanced Yoga practice that will leave you feeling power, peace and connection.
The practice can also be used as building blocks for those who want to develop their strength and knowledge of inversions and arm-balances in the future.
