This self-defence workshop is designed specifically for LGBTQIA+ individuals aged 16 to 35, as part of our continued commitment to building a safer and more inclusive Forth Valley.
Led by Jackie, the session will demonstrate practical, accessible self-defence and personal safety techniques. The focus will be on de-escalation methods and non-strenuous movements that can empower you to feel more confident and secure in everyday situations. No previous experience is required.
The workshop is open to all LGBTQIA+ identities and will take place in a supportive, inclusive environment. The venue is fully accessible and centrally located on Stirling’s High Street, close to public transport links.
This event is part of our wider hate crime awareness campaign. Come along to learn new skills, connect with others, and find out more about how we’re working toward a safer Forth Valley for everyone.
Free to attend. All welcome within the age range. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
If you have any access needs or questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch. To find out more, please contact samg@creativestirling.org
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
