Violence is increasing - recent reports have highlighted attacks on retail staff in pharmacies.
Over the next two weeks, there is the opportunity to experience Karate for free with instruction at one of Scotland's longest established clubs and with one of there most senior instructors, Mike Bissett 7th Dan.
Learn how karate can be life changing by building your self-confidence and ability, as well as being an outstanding way of defending yourself.
This year, the club is hoping to continue to offer specialised instruction in self defence for women. Women and children generally face a larger and stronger attacker. Because karate teaches you how to get great strength from your own body and also use an opponent's strength against them - it is the most appropriate martial art for ladies.
The introductory classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7.30 - 8.30pm at St Modans High School (Dance Studio) in Stirling
