A unique film about a unique portrait.
FIFE based artist Charles Nasmyth explores his inspiration to paint Hamish Henderson, a key contributor to the Scottish Cultural renaissance of the late 20th century.
Hamish's iconic songs are sung by leading musicians. Including " The Freedom come all year".
The film uses unique historic images and footage. Scholars, singers and writers contribute 'on location' in Edinburgh and Perthshire.
