Recyke-a-Bike and FEL invite current cargo bike users and the cargo-curious to join us for a celebration ride!
On Friday October 17th, we’re hosting a celebration of all things Cargo Bike in partnership with our friends at Recyke-a-Bike! This is part of Recyke-a-Bike’s series of 20th anniversary celebrations: two decades of helping the people of Forth Valley find the bike that’s right for them.
We’ve planned a route taking in some of Stirling’s best sights, making use of the extensive new cycle pathways. The ride will take around an hour and will be led by a highly experienced team of cycle leaders from both FEL and Recyke-a-Bike.
Bring your own cargo bike (or any bike you like!) or borrow one from us, for free. We have a huge range of options between us, from Tern longtails to multiple different bakfiets options - where children, pets, or other passengers are carried in a bucket in the front.
We can provide information and advice on which bike might be best for you to try on the day or in the future. This is your chance to give it a go in a group ride, being part of something special.
We’ll start and finish at Reckye-a-Bike’s shop in Causewayhead, with refreshments provided at the end of the ride.
Get in touch to find out more: travel@felscotland.org, or simply sign up. We’re looking forward to seeing you there.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
