Mark Black’s brand-new solo show Horrible Families showcases why he’s become one of Scotland’s most exciting comedy talents. A two-time Scottish Comedy Award winner with a reputation for fearless, hard-hitting stand-up, Mark has sold out some of the country’s biggest stages, including the legendary Glasgow Pavilion Theatre. He has also enjoyed packed-out, critically acclaimed runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, cementing his status as a crowd favourite and a comic whose shows are always in high demand.
With his trademark blend of biting wit, uncompromising honesty, and laugh-out-loud storytelling, Mark doesn’t shy away from the funny side of family life, warts and all. Known for his razor-sharp reputation and devoted following, he brings raw Scottish humour and universal relatability to the stage in a way that guarantees audiences leave talking.
