An idyllic setting underneath the Campsie Fells to enjoy the magic of leading fiddle exponent Alastair Savage and cello supremo Alice Allen explore Scotland’s rich heritage of amazing melodies. Their groundbreaking 2024 duo double album ‘Where The Good Ship Lands’ was heralded by critics and audiences alike. After a short hiatus they return to the concert platform in 2026 with melodies from past masters Niel Gow, James Scott Skinner and William Marshall including melodies used by Robert Burns in his song collections. Alongside this Alastair’s heartfelt compositions reflecting his Ayrshire homeland, mixed with Alice’s soulful cello inspired by her Aberdeenshire roots. A perfect blend of innovation and tradition.
Early booking recommended.
Concert duration 1 hour approx.
‘Perfect for enhancing the mood’ (Fatea Records)

‘A must for aficianados’ (Herald)
