Fiona Gibson’s witty and relatable novels have delighted readers across the UK. With over 20 titles to her name, Fiona’s stories are brimming with humour, heart, and the everyday chaos of life—making them the perfect cosy reads for the autumn and winter months.
We’ll be diving into her latest novel, The Woman Who Got Her Spark Back, a charming and empowering tale that asks: Is it ever too late to bloom? We meet Celia—newly empty-nested, stuck in a thermostat war with her husband Geoff, and longing for a life beyond the laundry pile. When three unexpected events shake up Celia’s world, she decides it’s time to revive herself—But can she really change the habits of a lifetime?
Fiona will share insights into her writing journey, from her early days at teen magazine Jackie (where she started at just 17!) to her cheeky stint at More! magazine, where she famously created the ‘Position of the Fortnight’.
Expect behind-the-scenes stories, plenty of laughs, and a chance to chat with one of Scotland’s great authors.
