If you feel like you could do with some tools to build resilience and enhance your well being, join Mo for a 6 week block of 'Yoga for Stress and to Enhance Well Being'. It starts on Sunday the 4th of January at 6.30pm to 7.45pm at The Yoga Tree Stirling.
The Mental Health Foundation’s 2018 survey reported “74% of people have felt so stressed they have been overwhelmed or unable to cope in the past year”. Nobody is immune to stress. Yoga provides an opportunity to build resilience and our window of tolerance to stress in an effective but gentle way.
Yoga for Stress and to Enhance Well Being is a 6 week block of classes which has been designed, using the insight of ancient philosophies (evidenced by current medical research), to teach you tools to balance and sooth the nervous system and regulate the mind. We will work with movement, breathing practices and elements of mindfulness, each week building on the previous.
There is an element of home learning on the course, yoga practices are experiential and finding a home practice allows you to build positive habits and make them part of your everyday life. This allows you to regain control and feel empowered in the face of stress and supporting well being.
This is my 3rd year running the course and feedback has been very positive.
