Level: Taster Session for ages 12-15
If you’re wondering what to do in Dunblane in the February holidays, look no further! Budding young crafters can join us in our friendly and welcoming studio for a bite-sized Teens Aluminium Jewellery or hair-clip workshop and learn some colourful & dynamic hand-skills. We’ll explore the endless possibilities of pattern and colour using stamping, dip dyeing and shaping techniques.
Students will use pre-anodised sheets to create samples ready to turn into rings, pendants, earrings or hair-clips.
Students can create a finished pendant in the morning and a finished hair-clip in the afternoon if they wish (or vice versa) but make sure you book both AM & PM sessions if you would like to that as those are bigger pieces that need more time. Earrings and rings can be both made in either session.
Our expert aluminium tutor will be on hand to help you out with technical and design assistance at every step of the way. If you are making a pendant or earrings, we will add a silver jump rings and attach it to a silver chain or silver earrings hooks so you can wear your handmade jewellery with pride.
Juice, water and biscuits provided throughout the session.
2 FREE PLACES AVAILABLE FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES – PLEASE EMAIL HELLO@CSSJ.CO.UK FOR A SPOT!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
