Level: Beginners / Taster Session
Join us for a bite-sized Silver Jewellery Making Taster Session and learn some basic jewellery making skills as you create a beautiful silver ring. Perfect to do with your partner to celebrate Valentines or celebrate with a group of friends! Begin by experimenting with brass and copper, discovering how to use various hammers to craft unique textures before learning how to solder and calculate your ring size. You will then move on to create your finished silver band.
Our expert tutors will guide you every step of the way, offering technical tips and design advice to help you perfect your creation. Walk away with a unique piece of handmade jewellery to treasure or share as a thoughtful gift for friends or family.
Explore basic jewellery skills: hammering, texturing, annealing
Learn to size, shape, and solder a sterling silver band
Gain finishing skills: filing, polishing, refining
