Every October we celebrate our charity’s history and achievements on the anniversary of the first four UK guide dog partnerships, back in 1931. Our services have transformed the lives of thousands of people living with sight loss, allowing them to be independent and live the life they choose. But we can’t rest yet.
This year our celebrations are set to be better than ever as we launch Pups to Partnerships – a life changing Guide Dogs appeal aiming to fund the lifetime cost of seven guide dogs in just 31 days and we need your help to make it happen!
During October, we’ll be hosting hundreds of fundraising collections across the UK and we need as many volunteers as possible to join in the fun and help us change lives. By donating an hour of your time at a collection, you’ll have the chance to meet new people, learn more about our work and most importantly – have fun!
To register to donate an hour of your time, please visit our website and search for a collection local to you. If you have any questions, please contact our friendly fundraising team on 0345 143 0192 or email fundraiseforus@guidedogs.org.uk
