Launch of STEP 40th Anniversary logo design competition to inspire children across Forth Valley.
Children and young adults across the Forth Valley have the chance to be a part of history by designing a logo that will be displayed on STEP’s various platforms throughout 2023, added to their vast archives and seen by thousands.
STEP, established in 1983, is celebrating its 40th birthday next year and is looking for the future generation of designers to get inspired and create a logo to help them celebrate.
The competition is open to residents of Scotland aged 4 to 18 years old who are attending school. The competition will open on the 1st of August 2022 and will run until 30th October 2022 allowing enough time for teachers, parents, and children to get involved.
The overall winning design will be professionally created and displayed by STEP throughout their birthday year.
Jenn McArthur, Marketing and Business Development Manager at STEP said:
“2023 will be an exciting year for us, it’s not every day you turn the big 40! STEP has a long-standing history in Stirling and this competition offers school pupils the chance to be part of that history. They will also have their design professionally created, turned into the real thing, and used across our print and digital platforms. The design brief is completely open, so we are really excited to see all of the different ideas we receive – but not looking forward to having to choose only one!”
