You will learn how to illustrate a variety of seasonal foliage and flowers, experimenting with loose style and “wet in wet” watercolour techniques to convey the beautiful textures and colours of the seasons.
The classes are designed to introduce beginners to watercolour and if you are familiar with watercolour already to help nurture and develop your own style. They are relaxed, informal and organic classes. We will be exploring sketching and maybe some mix media, like watercolour pencils, pen etc.
Plenty of one-on-one guidance to help enhance your observation and expressive painting skills.
Please bring your usual art materials, paints, brushes, pencils, watercolour paper & sketching paper. I do have a small supply if you would like to try before you buy!
Tea/coffee & biscuits are provided
Dates:
Wednesday 1st May, 8th, 15th and 29th May
