Stirling Rowing Club
Stirling Rowing Club is a club of mixed abilities ranging from complete beginners to the Worlds Vets champion and Scottish Junior champion!
About Stirling Rowing Club
We're also mixed age groups from the juniors club which has about 40+ juniors, aged 12-18, student members from 18-23 and the seniors which has about 35+ members in it ranging from early 20's to 50's and 'even more' seniors from 50's to 70's.
We train on a Tuesday evening from about 6:00pm till it gets dark, and again on Thursdays too.
When the clocks change we find we can't get out onto the river in the evening so we to do circuit and ergo (indoor rowing) training to keep fit.
We also train on a Sunday mornings at 9.30am till about 1pm. Sundays never stop and we train through the winter and the only Sunday we don't go out is Christmas or New Year, otherwise we're out there unless there is a hurricane.
Several other clubs use our facilities regularly to train so there's always lots going on!
