This year we are taking our popular Unicorn event online, for a celebration of Scotland's national animal at Stirling Castle.
Join our pre-recorded livestream on National Unicorn day to discover more about the mythical beast and enjoy an exciting array of activities. Our programme includes:
10am: Magical Unicorn Tour
A child-friendly guided tour of the tapestries at Stirling Castle, exploring the importance of the unicorn and its significance at the castle
12 Noon: Puppet Show - Euna the Unicorn and Friends
Mike and Euna are preparing for the King's visit at the castle
2pm: Meet the Unicorn
A Q&A session with Pumpkin the Unicorn and her keeper
Submit your questions for Pumpkin via our form
4pm: Storytelling - The Unicorn in the Castle
Join author Rachel McGaw to hear more about the magical and mysterious creature that exists only in pictures, stories and in your own imagination, as she reads her book The Unicorn in the Castle.
You can also enjoy our range of online activities, including crafts and a Unicorn recipe to enjoy throughout the day. The live stream will be available on Facebook and YouTube.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Virtual Unicorn Day are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
