Cashel Clanscape - Beltane Bash!
Beltane, or May Day, marks the return of summer - it’s time to celebrate!
Come to Cashel Forest, on east Loch Lomond and join the festivities as we explore the heritage crafts of the past:
- Create your own charcoal
- Smoke a tasty haddock
- learn herbal medicines and lore
- Try green wood working
- Float your boat at the coracle making
- Have a bash at whisky barrel building
- Pick at a Pictish leather pouch
- Weave the wool
- Girdle a Highland cake

The Cashel Clanscape - Beltane Bash offers weather-proof fun for all the family with heritage activities, wildlife walks and more besides.
Parking is included in the price of a ticket.
Tickets are £7.50 per adult, kids under 16 go Free!
* Early bird tickets are available until April the 1st *
Tickets may be available on the door, subject to capacity.

Cashel Forest and Native Forest Centre, Cashel Farm, Near Balmaha, G63 0AL
Cashel Forest is situated on the east side of Loch Lomond, 4 km north of Balmaha (11 km from Drymen) on the B837. Our OS Grid Reference is NS 400 940. The turning is on the right hand side of the road as you travel north from Balmaha. Walkers can find us via The West Highland Way which passes our front gate.
Parking may be in a grassy field, up to 400m from the Visitor Centre. If you require disabled parking or assistance with a mobility issue please contact ranger@cashel.org.uk
