A holiday like no other – Scottish Schools Orchestra Trust’s summer courses are a unique opportunity for children to make friends, expand their musical horizons and develop a love of group music-making which will last a lifetime.

SScOT’s summer residential course is a non-auditioned, six-day music course which includes outstanding music teaching, sport, art sessions, and social activities.
The summer course is open to any child aged 9-15, who plays an orchestral or wind band instrument at grade two to grade 8 level and beyond and there are no auditions!
Final concerts take place at 2.45pm and 4.45pm on the final Saturday of the course at the New Auditorium, RSNO Centre, 19 Killermont Street, Glasgow on the 16th of July.
The course costs £550 for applications received before 1 April 2022, or £575 after this date. This sum covers accommodation and all meals, a full timetable of activities, an expert team of conductors, tutors and pastoral staff, and memories that will last a lifetime! Full and partial bursaries are available.
