About Author Book Talk at Dunblane Library

“What’s Left Behind” is the debut novel by local Dunblane writer Angela T Edgar. Whilst the book is a work of fiction, in part it draws on the author’s experiences in the aftermath of a crime. Harrowing in parts and highly emotional, we are immediately drawn into the inter generational lives of three women, a grandmother, a mother [GRACE] and a daughter. From the initial shock of the crime, we hear how their lives unfold with a mix of sadness, courage and hope.

A community with a history, and one that shields a secret that’s about to reveal itself. Things suddenly become clearer and it isn’t long before a local resident realises past events were not as they first appeared. And so begins an obsession towards finding the truth and seeking justice for the crime.

A real page turner, with well developed characters and a strong sense of place throughout, it’s a story you’ll be drawn into. An honest and unapologetic portrayal of the legacy of violent crime.

Both the ebook and paperback are out now and available on Amazon. Books will also be available to buy on the evening of the talk.

You can get news and updates on the author’s Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/AngelaTEdgar
