These workshop's will encourage kids to recreate their likeness or even their friend's likeness using an abundance of creative techniques, while doing so we hope to teach the building blocks of art, the visual elements.
First Session - Thurs 4th August
Sensory based art workshop where young people will use a variety of items to create the next priceless masterpiece using popsicle sticks, buttons and whatever else we have to hand.
Second Session - Thurs 11th August
Recycle Yourself Workshop. Using found objects to create self-portraits, we will use recycled materials from bottles to wood to crisp packets, creating their likeness.
All sessions will provide a variety of materials and ideas for participants to be inspired from, hosted by Youth Engagement Artist Indie Flynn.
If you have any questions about this workshop, or require additional support or disability access please get in touch with reids@creativestirling.org.
Cancellations must be made at least 48hrs prior to receive a full refund.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
