Far From Par is a charity golf event that brings together golfers and supporters from around Scotland to raise money for a worthy cause. This event will benefit Men Matter Scotland, a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting wellbeing and preventing suicide in men.
Far From Par will feature a Texas Scramble style of golf, with a variety of competitions throughout. The event will also feature a buffet and raffle to raise money for Men Matter Scotland. Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes throughout the competition.
This event is an excellent opportunity to bring the community together for a great cause while enjoying a round of golf.
Far From Par is open to golfers of all skill levels, and those who want to support the cause. The event will be made up of groups of 3 or 4 golfers. Tickets are purchased individually. When purchasing a ticket, if you are joining us as a part of a team, please input the team name so we can keep all group members together. If registering alone then please note that we will add you to a team automatically.
Please note that all members of a group must register individually, one ticket covers one person.
About Men Matter Scotland
Men Matter Scotland is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting wellbeing and preventing suicide in men. Since 2020, Men Matter Scotland has created a positive environment that promotes men’s wellbeing. They also run weekly group sessions and activities, confidential sessions and they can arrange referrals for expert intervention. All proceeds from Far From Par will benefit Men Matter Scotland and help to support their mission.
Other Event Details
We invite all attendees to arrive to Aberfoyle Golf Club by 11am where we will then start the day off at 11:30am.
During the event we will have water and various snacks and sandwiches available to purchase (with all proceeds going towards Men Matter Scotland).
This event requires participants to bring their own clubs. Each group only requires one set as this can be shared among the 3 or 4 participants.
