Award-winning artist Bet Low (1924-2007) began her career designing sets for Glasgow Unity Theatre. Best-known today for her tranquil landscapes of Scottish islands, Low also captured the vibrant life around her on the city streets. Enterprising in promoting her work, and that of other artists, she co-founded a gallery in Sauchiehall Street. Learn more about Low’s art and life, in her centenary year, with the former Fine and Applied Art Officer at Perth Museum and Art Gallery.
