The sharper the tool, the safer the work! On this one-day course, you'll learn how to keep your basic green woodworking tools sharp – and safe. In order to get the most from our tools – and therefore the experience of green woodworking – sharp tools are essential. Yet, for many, sharpening is a complex mystery that is all too often avoided. Use this opportunity to learn good habits, understand your metal, and know what equipment and methods to get the best results, and you'll get more from your tools.
You'll arrive on site by 10am, and be directed to workshop. From there, one of our experienced trainers will lead you through the workshop. Bring your own tools to sharpen! The day finishes by 4pm. Please bring food and drink for the day - you are welcome to cook over our campfire. We provide tea and coffee.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
