Commission for Tolbooth @ 20
Accomplished Stirling based artist David Galletly has designed a unique illustrated poster celebrating 20 years of Tolbooth. This will be used online throughout the year, and a limited run of Riso prints will be available for sale at Tolbooth.
In June we will host an exhibition of poster art at Tolbooth Gallery featuring David Galletly’s commissioned piece, and a selection of his poster work for musicians, and lost map records label.
David Galletly – Is an artist, illustrator and graphic designer based in Stirling, and working internationally. David has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across the UK and overseas, and also heads up the art direction of Lost Map, a record label launched by The Pictish Trail in 2013. As part of Tolbooth’s celebrations of our 20th birthday, David was commissioned to create a unique poster design to mark the occasion. The exhibition will feature David’s commissioned piece, as well as showcasing some of his previous poster design and illustration work.
As part of this same exhibition, Tolbooth will also show some poster designs created by Forth Valley College students, who have designed posters celebrating 20 years of Stirling’s city status.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
