SUMMER JEWELLERY CLUB – For ages 12yrs – 15yrs
Central Scotland School of Jewellery at Craft Central are delighted to open their doors to young, budding jewellery makers! No previous experience is necessary for this fun new learning experience delivered by a professional jeweller.
Aluminium Bookmarks and Hairclips
Tuesday 8th August – 1pm- 4.30pm
This colourful workshop deep dives in to the decorative colouring of aluminium which is perfect for jewellery making, sculpture and other craft projects. Working with a variety of colours, students will learn about the anodising process and be introduced to a variety of fun and creative techniques which will include direct application using pens, rubber stamps and other easy to use materials. Dip dying techniques will also be shown, all of which will be tried out on pre-anodised sheets to create lots of colourful samples ready to turn into either a bookmark or a hairlip…or both if there is time!
Juice, water and biscuits will be provided however please ensure your child has had lunch before the workshop.
A sketchbook, pencil and a water bottle would be helpful to bring along!
