Level: Beginners
Join us for a fun and festive introduction to jewellery making, using foraged beach treasure to create your own sea glass Christmas Tree! We’ll show you how to use wire to form the stand of your tree, safely drill your pieces of sea glass using special drill bits, and finally disc cut and solder to form the star on top. Bring along your favourite pieces of foraged sea glass to create a uniquely festive ornament!
What to bring:
We’ll provide everything from tools to precious metals; you are encouraged to bring along your own sea glass finds to create your personal Christmas Tree. However we have sea glass in the studio to use if not.
Please bring along glasses if you need them
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for a studio environment, including closed-toe shoes. Why not order yourself a CSSJ apron to make you feel right at home in your workshop?
If you have long hair, please wear it up
Tea, coffee, and festive treats are supplied
Please note that occasionally our classes run slightly over the finishing time, depending on the complexity of student designs. Please allow for an extra 30 minutes of buffer time at the end of the day.
Please note: classes may be cancelled due to a lack of attendees. In this unlikely event, you will be fully refunded and notified the day before the class is scheduled
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
