Here’s our top 5 things to do for little tots:
1. Make magic on the carousel
Who doesn’t love a carousel ride? Make believe you are Mary Poppins or let the little ones pretend they are a show jumper and enjoy the thrill of the carousel ride as a family.
2. Take in the city views
Enjoy amazing views of the River Clyde and across the city centre with your little ones and treat them to a ride on the Big Wheel. Making its debut outside the Carnival this year, The Big Wheel is an enchanting experience for anyone, but little tots will be completely fascinated.
3. Run off some steam on the soft play
The inflatable play is back this year and features slides, bouncy castles, soft play for under 1-year olds and a rest area for parents while their little ones bounce and play until their heart is content. The inflatable play is three vouchers for 40 minutes of fun and has a maximum age of 12.
4. Hook a duck
Who can resist the endless soft toys to be won on the game stalls? Perfect for taking a break from the rides, there are plenty of exciting games to play to keep the little ones entertained. Try your hand at Spill the Milk, Rings and Blocks or Hook a Duck, which are all firm family favourites.
5. Enjoy a few last festive treats
You can’t go to the IRN-BRU Carnival and not indulge in some of your favourite treats. From candy floss, Hawaiian shaved ice, ice cream or a tasty hot dog – refuel with a delicious snack and prepare yourself for another round of fun!
Make the most of this quieter period at the Carnival and swing by before it closes on Sunday 13 January.
Opening hours:
Wednesday 9 Jan 5pm – 10pm
Thursday 10 Jan 5pm – 10pm
Friday 11 Jan 5pm – 10pm
Saturday 12 Jan 12noon – 10pm
Sunday 13 Jan 12noon – 9pm
Tickets are available now from £12 for general admission and £8 for concessions.
All general admission tickets will include entry as well as five vouchers per person, which can be used on all rides, inflatable play and selected stalls (some stalls are cash taking). Book tickets in advance for easy entry into the hall and the best ticket prices*.
